Jeremy is a New York native who has loved to sing since he was a young boy. His sister, Carolyn, speaks of Jeremy singing to TV commercials as a child and never stopping from there.
His early influences were Stevie Wonder, Donny Hathaway, David Ruffin, Levi Stubbs of the 4 Tops. Later influences were Brian McKnight, Michael Jackson, Howard Hewitt and Pebo Bryson. Currently Jeremy likes John Legend, Elliot Yamin & Justin Timberlake.
Over the years Jeremy has focused on live performance, specifically R&B with a variety of musicians. Live performance has always been close to Jeremy’s heart and something he’s always interested in doing.
As a top-line writer and vocalist, Jeremy loves to work with producers and engineers creating music. According to Jeremy, writing the lyrics for a song is "really exciting and you get to express a thought from start to finish, sharing your point of view".
Through 2007, Jeremy worked on numerous dance music projects for producers around the world. The vast majority of these projects being released over seas. This work led to his first two Top-40 hits in Holland, "Turn The Lights Off" and "Physical Attraction". The lyrics for "Physical Attraction" were written by Jeremy and recorded in a Manhattan studio.
It wouldn't be until February of 2008 when "Deep At Night" (previously released throughout Europe by Fektive Records) would be released in North America by Nervous Records and become a Billboard Top 10 Hit that Jeremy's success would be realized at home in the United States.
In the summer of 2008, the release of “Night Moves” in Holland was received with great enthusiasm by the European Dance Music community. The song opened Dennis Ruyer's Dance Department on Holland's national Dance538 radio on June 11th and became a listener favorite on the playlist.
